Masood Suliman, Registered Psychotherapist

Steady, kind, and genuinely human. That’s the job.

Masood Suliman smiling while seated in a leather chair at his Ottawa clinic.

Hi, I’m Masood. I work with adults carrying things that don’t always have a tidy name: trauma that won’t stay in the past, anxiety that won’t switch off, the same argument on repeat at home. Most people I see have already tried to think their way through it and found that insight alone didn’t hold. So that’s not where I start.

My work is to help your nervous system feel safe enough that change becomes possible, at a pace you set, not one I impose. The first sessions build ground, not pressure: your history, your goals, and the settling skills that make the harder work possible. Deeper processing, with EMDR, somatic therapy, or parts work (IFS), comes only when you’re ready for it, and never before. Nothing here happens to you. It happens with you.

Experience and background

I’ve supported people navigating PTSD and complex trauma, ADHD, depression, chronic pain, grief, and anxiety, and I know how much these can quietly run a day.
